I am a Mom to two teenage daughters, a part-time parenting education instructor, a runner, a kayaker, a dog lover and a fanatic of most things artistic and crafty. I live on the North Olympic Peninsula in Washington state where there are numerous places to run, hike and kayak but not much in the way of art supply stores.  I have been a rubber stamper and card maker, a quilter, a scrap booker, a knitter and crocheter, and a jewelry maker.  A little more than a year ago I discovered the world of art journaling and mixed media.  I love the freedom and sense of exploration that mixed media brings to my creative journey.  After having a booth at our local farmer's market for a few years I  have enjoyed letting go of worrying about 'Is this good enough to sell?'  and 'How much would I sell it for?'   I felt I needed to let go of those concerns and just allow myself to create for me.
